Sydnee keeps a log of every email sent using the platform for trouble shooting purposes.
You can access this log if you are an admin by clicking this link: https://my.sydnee.app/settings/email/history
We highly recommend checking this log first if your clients are not receiving login codes or other expected emails. If the email is there and we have a success status, chances are the receiver is blocking the emails or it's in their spam folder.
If there are emails with an error, feel free to reach out to support so we can investigate and help solve the issue.
Each email record has the following information:
Who the email was sent to
What email address the email was sent from.
[email protected] is the default email sender if you have not successfully configured a custom email address
The subject of the email
The date
A status (Successful or error)
If you click any of the logs you will reveal:
The mailing system response
If there was an email bounce, misconfiguration, or blocking on the server level it will be said here
What was sent
Helpful for knowing if the content of the email was correct. We use dynamic templates so the entire email will not be there, just the variable information
If your custom email is not configured properly, we will attempt to fail over to our default email. However, there is the possibility that a misconfigured custom email will cause emails not to send.
