About the Activity Heatmap

Written by Connor Bearse
Updated yesterday

The Activity Heatmap, located on the team member page, provides a visual summary of a user’s activity across the app over time.

How it works

  • Each square represents a single day.

  • Darker squares indicate higher levels of activity (more tracked events).

  • Lighter squares indicate lower activity.

Understanding sessions

A session is defined as a continuous period of activity by a team member.
A new session begins only after 30 minutes or more of inactivity.

We started recording sessions on April 10th, 2026 so before this date the squares may be light if you did not do any major actions that day.

Who can see it

  • Members can view their own activity heatmap on their profile page.

  • Admins and Owners can view the activity heatmap for all team members.

Important notes

  • Session start events have been tracked starting the week of April 9th.
Activity before this date may appear lighter than expected, even if the user was active

Can I see More Data?

Not currently, but we are planning to expand data and reporting shortly so stay tuned.
