Sydnee Client Portals provides flexible notification settings so you can stay informed about tasks and activity in a way that suits your workflow. Here's a detailed guide to managing your task notifications:

Adjusting Your Notification Preferences

To customize your personal notification settings:

1. Go to your personal settings page: Personal Email Notifications.

2. You'll see a variety of options that can be toggled to control the type and frequency of notifications you receive.

Notification Options Available:

Communication

  • When you are mentioned in a comment: Receive notifications specifically when someone mentions you directly in a comment.

Updates on Tasks Assigned to You

  • Assigned tasks: Notifications when a new task is assigned to you.

  • Due date changes: Alerts when the due date of an assigned task is modified.

  • Completed tasks: Notifications when tasks assigned to you are marked as complete.

  • New comments: Updates when new comments are added to your tasks.

  • New attachments: Alerts when files or documents are attached to your tasks.

  • Deleted tasks: Notifications if tasks assigned to you are deleted.

Updates on Tasks You’re Collaborating On

  • Added as collaborator: Alerts when you're added to a task as a collaborator.

  • Task completions: Notifications when tasks you collaborate on are completed.

  • New comments: Updates when new comments are made on tasks you're collaborating on.

  • New attachments: Alerts when new files are attached to tasks you're collaborating on.

  • Deleted tasks: Notifications if tasks you collaborate on are deleted.

Client Notifications

Clients added to your portal can customize their notifications as well:

  • Clients can click on their profile image at the top-right corner of their portal interface and select "Notifications" to manage their personal preferences.

  • New clients inherit the default client task notification settings. These defaults can be adjusted here: Company Default Guest Notifications.

Per-Account Notification Settings

In addition to global notification settings, Sydnee offers two account-specific notification settings:

1. Receive Task Notifications:

- Turning this off disables all task notifications for the selected account, overriding global settings. The only notifications that will still come through are mentions.

2. Client Task Creation Alert:

- Keeping this enabled means you'll receive alerts when clients create new tasks in that account.
