Task templates let you quickly reuse common task structures across client accounts. They’re great for onboarding checklists, service flows, and repeatable project work.

Creating a New Task Template

  1. Click Create Template

This will open the template builder.

🛠 Template Builder Overview

Sections

  • If you create only one section, you’ll be asked which section to insert the template into when applying it.

  • If you create multiple sections, the full structure (with all section names and order) will be preserved on insert.

Tasks

  • Supports up to 500 tasks per template

  • Supports subtasks, attachments, and team assignments

  • Due dates are relative to the insert date

Due Dates

  • Tasks can be due X days after the template is inserted

  • Option to skip weekends

  • If a due date lands on a weekend, you can roll it back to Friday or forward to Monday

Saving a Template From an Account

  • Open any account’s task list

  • Click the dropdown arrow in the top-right

  • Choose Save as Template

Inserting a Template Into an Account

  1. In that same task list dropdown, click Insert Template

  2. Choose the template

  3. If the template has:

    1. One section: you’ll select which section to insert into

    2. Multiple sections: all sections will be inserted as-is
