How to Preview Your Client Portal 🖥️

Want to see exactly what your client sees before they log in? You can do this by inviting yourself as a new member using a different email.


Step 1: Go to the account you would like to preview as a client

  • Click into the portal you want to preview from the accounts homepage


Step 2: Invite yourself

  • On the right side, find Portal Access

  • Click Invite

  • Click Add Member

  • Enter a different email address (one you didn’t use to sign up)

  • Add your name

  • Make sure Notify by email is checked

  • Click Add Member


Step 3: Open the invite email

  • Go to the inbox for that email

  • Find the email with Access Granted

  • Click Click here for access


Step 4: Log in like a client

  • Enter your email

  • Check your email for the login code

  • Enter the code


What you’ll see

You are now viewing your portal exactly like a client would.

Here’s what’s different:

  • No admin panel on the left

  • Simpler layout

  • Client-focused experience


What to check

This is your chance to test everything before your client sees it:

  • Tasks

  • Files

  • Services

  • Requests (or onboarding forms)

  • Live chat (bottom right corner)


Use this anytime you want to double-check your portal before sharing it with clients.
