We are excited to announce a much-requested feature for Sydnee Client Portals: the ability to add external links to the navigation menu. This new feature offers greater customization and flexibility, allowing you to seamlessly integrate external resources directly into your client portals.

How to Add External Links

  1. Access the Navigation Menu:

    • Navigate to the portal where you want to add an external link.

    • In the navigation menu, click on the little plus (+) icon.

  2. Add an External Link:

    • Select “External Link” from the options.

    • Enter the URL and name for the link you want to add.

    • Save your changes to add the link to the navigation menu.

Customization Options

  1. Global or Specific Links:

    • Global Links:

      • Set links as global to make them visible across all accounts. This is useful for resources or tools that are relevant to all users.

    • Specific Links:

      • If you choose not to set it as global, the link will be specific to a single account. This allows for tailored navigation based on the unique needs of different clients.

  2. Reorder Navigation Items:

    • Customize the order of the navigation items to prioritize the most important links.

    • Drag and drop the navigation items to rearrange them, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
