As part of our upgrade to Sydnee’s new unified notifications experience, the previous Activity system has been fully retired. This update allows us to deliver faster, more consistent, and more accurate notifications across tasks, files, comments, requests, and more.

Your historic activity has not been deleted. It has simply moved.

Below is everything you need to know.

What changed?

We replaced our old Activity system with a new, unified notifications experience that lives inside the notification bell icon in the top-right corner of your portal.

This new system improves:

  • Delivery speed

  • Accuracy between collaborators, clients, and team members

  • Respects your email notification preferences found in your personal settings

  • A consistent experience across all modules

  • The ability to expand into richer notifications over time

Because this new system is built on a completely different foundation, your previous Activity feed is no longer shown in the main interface.

Where can I find my old Activity?

Your legacy Activity data is still available at a dedicated archive page:

Bookmark it if you want quick access.

You can use this page to open the old activity list and view all historic activities.

This page will remain available for a limited transition period.

Why was the old Activity page retired?

The previous Activity system was built during the early stages of Sydnee and was not designed for the scale or complexity customers now use every day.

The new system provides:

  • More reliable triggers

  • Per-user notification preferences

  • Better performance

  • Future features and expansion

Retiring the old system allows us to move faster without technical limitations.

How do I view notifications now?

All notifications now appear in the notification drawer.

Just click the bell icon at the bottom left

Inside the drawer, you’ll see:

  • All updates

  • Unread upates

  • File updates

  • Task updates

  • Request updates

  • Guest portal access updates

Also, you can manage your task updates individually in your task center inbox. The updates sync with the activity slide over.
